Choppers Magazine - Ed Roth Poster

Choppers Magazine - Ed Roth Poster

$20.00

Any fan of old school 1960s choppers will tell you that Ed Roth was a big time player when it came to blowing minds and influencing the outlaw motorcycle world. From his artwork that included the infamous Rat Fink to his collaborations with Dave Mann and Choppers Magazine, Roth made his mark and still has a heavy influence on chopper culture today. In 1967, he launched Choppers Magazine which was a black and white, 48-page publication “for and about bike riders.” He wanted to cover the entire spectrum of the American motorcycle scene and in the first issue which was released in 1967, Ed and his team took a trip to the midwest to hang out with Tom, Tiny, Graycat, Dave Mann and the rest of the club brothers. They took many photos and Tom wrote an article that appeared in the first issue of the magazine. This poster features photos from that day in a collage that Tom put together himself. This poster is Tom’s original black and white design straight from his Sioux City shop. It measures 18x24” and is printed on high-quality matte paper. It will be shipped rolled in a thick cardboard tube.
