About Fugle Files
While growing up in Sioux City in the late 1980’s, I would hang out at our family body shop which was located just a few blocks away from the old EFMC clubhouse. Seeing Tom and the other nine members cruise by on their choppers was enough to catch anyone’s attention but as a kid, it was mesmerizing. The loud pipes, the circle patch, the colorful tanks and the beards; just the epitome of cool when you’re a kid growing up in Iowa.
Well, fast forward 30 years and the choppers still roar around town but Tom has since passed. One thing that remains the same is his impact on chopper enthusiasts all over the world. From California to Sweden, Iowa to Japan, Tom’s innovative ideas have stood the test of time and inspired so many. That’s where Fugle Files comes in. After meeting up with Tom’s wife, Jennie, we made a plan to preserve and promote Tom’s legacy through this website and social media. We want to let people get a better look at all Tom had to offer and allow everyone in on his many talents and also contribute to preserving Tom’s workshop in Sioux City by purchasing items in the store. We hope to share the many amazing photos, artistic works and historic items that Tom created and collected over the course of his life. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do!
