Starting back in the early 1960s, Tom ran a printing press out of his Sioux City shop. He operated under the name Sioux Printing and the original press is still in his shop today. He printed business cards, stationary, restaurant menus, and all sorts of collateral for local businesses. He also printed numerous items for himself such as club promos, posters and event tickets. After Tom, Tiny and the guys started the EFMC in 1962, they began hanging up psychedelic artwork alongside the Dave Mann posters in their clubhouse. You can see two black and white photos from the clubhouse in the mid-1960s that feature a vintage Hindenburg poster. Tom printed these posters himself and actually saved a run of them in the back of his shop. We recently discovered them and are going to offer a few for sale.

These are NOT reproductions. These are the original prints from the 1960s from Tom’s shop. They measure 25x38” and will ship in a thick cardboard tube. Each print has it’s own unique character (small tears, slight discoloration, old paper smell) although all are in great condition considering they are 60+ years old. If you are looking for a true original piece of art for your shop wall, this is definitely the piece. Once they are gone, they’re gone.
